Do I need to run my own server?
No. Meldry provisions and operates the Matrix homeserver, database, media store and TLS certificates for you. You just sign in and use it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. From Settings → Workspace → Custom Domain you add a CNAME and a verification TXT record. Meldry auto-issues a TLS certificate once DNS propagates.
Is my data encrypted?
All conversations use Matrix end-to-end encryption by default. Your data lives in your isolated workspace, with daily backups (Pro+) and on-demand exports.
Can I federate with other Matrix servers?
Yes — federation is available on Pro and Business plans. Once enabled, your users can talk to anyone on the public Matrix network.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the current billing period. Workspaces are then downgraded to Free; you can export your data at any time before scheduling deletion.
