By creating a Meldry workspace you ("the Customer") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Meldry ("the Operator") provisions and operates a Matrix homeserver (the "Workspace") on the Customer's behalf, including its database, media store, TLS certificates, and optional bridges to third-party messaging platforms.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA, or older where local law requires) to use the service. If you sign up on behalf of an organization you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
Use of the Workspace is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Mid-cycle plan changes are prorated. The full pricing schedule is published on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days' notice.
Refunds are issued in accordance with the Refund Policy.
You retain all ownership rights to messages, media and configuration you upload to your Workspace ("Customer Data"). The Operator only processes Customer Data as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
The Operator targets 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance and force-majeure events. Free servers are provided on a best-effort basis.
The Operator may suspend or terminate a Workspace for violation of these Terms or the AUP, for non-payment, or for activity that endangers the platform or its users. The Customer may cancel at any time from the dashboard.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the Customer in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be disclaimed by law.
The Operator may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operating entity's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law states otherwise.
For questions about these Terms, contact the Operator via the support tickets system in your dashboard.
