1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") protects users, the platform and the wider Internet. It applies to every workspace and every user account.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use Meldry to host, transmit or facilitate any of the following:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content sexualizing minors.
- Content that incites or glorifies real-world violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Targeted harassment, hate speech or threats against individuals or protected groups.
- Malware, ransomware, exploit kits or command-and-control infrastructure.
- Phishing pages or other content designed to defraud users.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam).
- Material that infringes intellectual property rights you do not own and have no license to use.
- Any activity that violates applicable export-control sanctions.
3. Resource abuse
- Do not run scrapers or DDoS infrastructure from a workspace.
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or storage caps.
- Do not run cryptocurrency miners.
4. Reporting violations
Open a support ticket with category Abuse, or email the operator's published abuse address. Include the URL or room identifier and any evidence.
5. Enforcement
Confirmed violations may result in:
- A warning (first minor offence).
- Temporary suspension of the workspace pending remediation.
- Permanent termination without refund.
- Reporting to law enforcement where applicable.
6. Appeals
You may appeal an enforcement action by replying to the support ticket associated with the action within 30 days.
